Abstract

The article raises concern from U.S. chipmakers affected by the trade dispute between the U.S. and China that Chinese companies may no longer see them as dependable business partners. Issues and concern discussed are China's shift away from U.S. chipmakers and towards other countries like Japan and South Korea, financial impact of the China ban on chipmakers including Micron Technology, NeoPhotonics and Semtech, and disruption to routine patterns of business operations.
