The aim of the article is to present influenza vaccines currently available in Poland in accordance with the recommendations of the World Health Organization and Polish experts, as well as data concerning their immunogenicity and safety based on results of scientific research and published guidelines. Currently, it is recommended to use the tetravalent influenza vaccine due to its broader protection against the disease and a similar safety profile compared to the trivalent vaccine.
