Abstract

A summary is presented of an article published online at http://dx.doi.org/10.1126/science.aaw0474 studying the synaptic pathways that carry information of potentially harmful events to the lateral amygdala and the part of the brain that processes aversive somatosensory events which is then conducted to the amygdala.
