The article aims to discuss questions about the danger related to gender and sexuality in the context of educational institutions, particularly high schools and universities. The discussion are based on a repertoire that considers the academic and professional experiences of the authors, and also the experience of other researchers that were presented as part of recent academic events and discussions about violence, the intense dispute over gender and sexuality and the ambiguity of the meaning of the danger that surrounds such themes in educational contexts. The purpose of the preset article is to highlight the possibilities of resistance to violence in and of educational institutions, valuing the experiences of subjects who occupy the territories of education.
