The article presents the a case study of a 3-year-old patient who had biliary atresia, which caused irreparable damage and eventually liver failure. Topics discussed the experience and risk towards liver transplantation; mentions the failure of liver transplantation that cause the death of patient; and highlights to improve the process of clinical and moral decision making.
