A EXPANSÃO DO AGRONEGÓCIO COOPERATIVO NA REGIÃO SUL DO BRASIL NOS ANOS 2000.

After the 2000s, the agricultural cooperatives of the South Region of Brazil presented a new cycle of expansion, with an increase in the number of associates, employees, production, territories and revenues. The geoeconomic growth of cooperativism occurred in all the southern states, however, with greater intensity in the institutions of Paraná and Santa Catarina, which became the most dynamic center of regional and national cooperativism. The objective of this article is to verify the geoeconomic expansion of agricultural cooperatives in Southern Brazil after 2000, analyzing the particularities of their recent evolution in each of the southern states.
