- All 7 oriental manuscripts of the Mainz City Library (Wissenschaftliche Stadtbibliothek) were catalogued in 2017/18 at the Jena research centre "Arabic Manuscripts" as part of the project "Cataloguing of Oriental Manuscripts in Germany" (Göttingen Academy of Sciences and Humanities).
