Abstract

The article offers a study that aims to vertebral fracture risk. Topics discussed include the association between vertebral strength measures and incident vertebral fracture in men and women, mentions the bone strength estimates by computed tomography (CT), based finite element analysis (FEA) that provide equivalent ability to predict incident vertebral fracture, and information on the fragile bone strength for the proximal femur and lumbar spine.
