Abstract

The article explores how Americans' view global warming. It mentions the view of about half of Americans on climate change as a personal risk and the impact of limited perception of the risks and social consensus on climate change solutions on Americans' views on climate change. It also offers data showing the trends in global warming beliefs and risk perceptions of Americans,political party, and generations as well as the climate change mitigation policy support from 2008 to 2017.
