Abstract

The article offers information on risk and averting risk of prescribing in alcohol use disorder (AUD). Topics discussed include number of such patients taking a benzodiazepine would be higher; SSRIs may have liberated thousands of individuals shackled by social anxiety or obsessional fears; and effect of antidepressants on depression in depressed patients with AUD.
