A PARTICIPAÇÃO DA MULHER "PÚBLICA" NO DESENVOLVIMENTO DO PARANÁ: MITO OU VERDADE?

The idea of considering "The participation of the "public" woman in the development of Paraná: fact or fiction?" is related to the low participation and the "invisibility" of the woman from Paraná in the protagonism of the history and the development of the state since its stablishment. The ideas put forward in this study focus on the improvement and consolidation of the issue under the perspective of the reflective sociology. It is a study in development, linked to the Social Sciences (sociology) Program of the UFPR, aiming its completion. The question is: Was Paraná also built by female "hands and minds" through public administration? Why there is no official reference of women participation? Mainly because, in the past, they were not part of public administration. Their very presence in the institutions created by the state itself, for example in the legislative, executive and judiciary, is relatively recent. After all, is there interest in knowing who were, or who are, the first women to take part in the management and direction of the legislative, executive and judiciary? Do they exist? Only with the investigative research made possible to verify such presence and then respond the core question. [ABSTRACT FROM AUTHOR]
