Scholastic Debates on Beatific Union with God: Henry of Ghent (c. 1217–93) and His Interlocutors.

The literary criticism of the book "Meister Eckhart & the Beguine Mystics" is presented. It discusses about the how the scholastic theologians of the thirteenth century see ecstatic mystical union as prolepsis of the beatific vision, and offer little discussion of it. It is another way of dividing he terrain as proposed by Christian Trottmann in reference to Henry of Ghent.
