EL CONSUMO DE DROGAS DE NIÑOS, NIÑAS Y ADOLESCENTES EN VENEZUELA COMO UN PROBLEMA DE SALUD PÚBLICA.

In the present article an analysis is made on the use of drugs by children and teenagers in Venezuela. Within this problem, it is necessary to take necessary actions to reduce the consumption of drugs in our country, applying the principles of Equality and Social Justice contained in our constitution. In this documentary research, information was collected from different public, national and international organizations linked to this social problem, and the available data on the topic were analyzed. The historical, semantic and legal aspects, as well as the organizations that act in this field, the statistics that have been generated and the offered solutions are highlighted. It was concluded that a paradigm change is needed in order to address this issue as a public health problem rather than a crime, which will allow, in fact, the application of socio-educational policies for its treatment.
