O sentido histórico da formação de colônias europeias no Paraná: o exemplo de Superagui.

The foreigner colonies formation in Paraná, during the XIX century, was explained by local historiography as motivated by the necessity of a supply agriculture and by one supposed food shortage. In order to support that argument, it was referenced the manifestation of a colonial enterprising: the Swiss Carlos Perret Gentil, founder of Superagui's Colony. The aim of this work is to run through his ideas about the European colonization and the Paraná's farming during the XIXth century, and the after appropriation of those accounts by Paraná's historiography, with the purpose of explaining and forming historical sense of the mentioned events.
