ZAGADNIENIA EKSPLORACJI DANYCH I ODKRYWANIA WIEDZY W ŚWIETLE LITERATURY.

This article aims to review selected aspects of data mining and knowledge discovery with regard to their role in the information society. Approaches of various researchers to basic notions in the field have been analyzed. Interpretations of KDD stages proposed by chosen experts have been confronted, as well as the CRISP-DM methodology, rule knowledge representation and data mining tasks have been addressed.
