Abstract

The article presents a study on the structural geology, petrology, chronology, and geochemistry of the Shirenshan gneiss in North Qinling Terrane (NQT), China. The study evaluates the zircon uranium-lead (U-Pb) dating, the magma sources and petrogenesis, and geodynamic regimes of the gneiss. Result shows that the gneiss features A-type granite, rock production through partial melting of amphibolites, and strong interaction between crust and mantle.
