- The article reports on challenges posed by Turkish local elections on opposition, as well as President Recep Tayyip Erdogan. It informs that ruling party is dominating the media and public discourse, with all the mainstream papers and television channels supporting Erdogan and the Justice and Development Party; and the impact of Turkey's military activities in neighboring Syria on elections.
