The objective of this paper is to discuss and argue about the relevance of conducting bioethical research in loco, in the territory or, more precisely, in the daily life. This practice, common in the social sciences, implies the need to insert the researcher in the context of people's lives, sharing norms and expectations in the flow of daily events. It is a practice that is ethically and politically committed to the context with which it is intended to deal with and, consequently, that it becomes a benefit for the people participating in the study.
