IH!!! COMO PILATOS: UM FANTASMA MODERNO.

In this paper, placing myself in the position of an essay producer, I aim to analyze a group of questions and answers from a research on "family and marriage, and domestic, psychological, patrimonial and sexual violence" (especially those related to domestic violence), carried out by IPEA (Institute for Applied Economic Research), published on March 28, 2014. Through the analysis of a portion of the questionnaire, I intend to consider a principle of discursive functioning that I call "the Pontius Pilate syndrome". With this, I mean that, in the face of problems about which we are aware, we choose to "wash our hands" by assuming that we cannot get involved and by finding someone on whom we can put the blame and responsibility on, which implies our omission to intervene in what we might, perhaps, help to equate.
