Abstract
- Scleroderma may present several clinical forms. One of them is the puzzling lesion called coup de sabre. This condition features a linear cutaneous atrophy limited to face and forehead, thus resembling a scar caused by an sable s strike. A case of "coup de sabre" is presented here. A 40 year old female patient had a cutaneous lesion on the right side of the frontal region since she was 13 years. From that age on. she also suffered tonic-clonic generalized seizures. She had received several drug treatments, including diphenylhydantom, carbamazepine and phenobarbital. Carbamazepine dose was adjusted and seizures fully controlled A treatment with hydroxichloroquine and D-penicilliamine was proposed. [ABSTRACT FROM AUTHOR]
