Abstract
- In this paper, the nonlinear cross-modulation noise/interference arising from channel filtering and leakage in a six-port digital millimetric receiver (DMR) is studied in detail. The in-band noise/interference arises from strong noise/interference outside the receiving bandwidth, and will deteriorate the bit-error rate (BER). Analysis and simulation results of this effect are provided, and results on methods of its suppression are also given. © 1998 John Wiley & Sons, Inc. Microwave Opt Technol Lett 17: 386–394, 1998.
