Abstract

A pulse Doppler radar with one-dimensional direction sensitivity is described. The system uses quadrature mixing to retain the direction information in an echo signal, and performs signal sampling over a predetermined time slot to ignore reflected signals from objects outside the range of interest. © 1998 John Wiley & Sons, Inc.
