Abstract

The article offers information on a study related to Hepatitis C virus (HCV) treatment of patients on contraindicated anti-epileptic drugs and the role of drug level monitoring. It notes that the patients on strong inducing anti-epileptic drugs (AEDs) such as carbamazepine, phenytoin and phenobarbital requires additional treatment which is challenging.
