The Hexapodidae (Decapoda, Brachyura) of Hong Kong, with description of a new species of Mariaplax Rahayu & Ng, 2014.

The current understanding of the hexapodid crab fauna from Hong Kong is limited. Trawl surveys of the subtidal macrobenthos since 2012 obtained four species of Hexapodidae: Hexalaughlia orientalis (Rathbun, 1909), Hexapinus simplex Rahayu & Ng, 2014, Mariaplax chenae Rahayu & Ng, 2014 and M. exigua sp. nov.
