Abstract

Our research offers a solution to the problem of searching for a universal methodology that will allow describing the structure and functions of consciousness in the form of a coherent system. As such a methodology, we consider the constructivist approach. Thanks to consciousness, the subject builds a constructive relationship with the world, realizes the subjectivation of reality, which is conditioned by a single system of mutually defining and mutually referring constructs. In the system of these constructs, both the features of the subject and the features of the structuring of the surrounding world can be revealed. Consciousness is possible only in an articulated environment and functions as a symbolic code. The "natural" and "artificial" in consciousness are in relation to supervenience. The methodological basis of our research is the synthesis of the basic philosophical approaches: phenomenological, hermeneutic-dialectical and informational. The structure of consciousness will be considered in the dynamics of the ontogenetic process. [ABSTRACT FROM AUTHOR]
