Open letter from Chinese HIV professionals on human genome editing.

The article presents a case study of twin sisters who have been claimed to been born with edited genes performed by Jiankui He and colleagues. The authors who are engaged in HIV research and prevention strongly oppose genome editing on healthy germline cells in humans, and talk about concerns related to scientific ethics brought about by the claim.
