Abstract

The article discusses the research on surface rupture zone of seismic faults in China using high-resolution remote sensing technology and mentions the quantitative research of earthquakes. Topics include the survey on geometric and kinematic characteristics of the rupture zone; the 7.2 earthquake at Yutian in Xinjiang, China; and the use of digital elevation model the surface rupture behavior.
