Abstract
- The article looks at the economic challenges facing Kansas Governor-elect Laura Kelly in 2018. Kelly is expected to address the state's falling revenues caused by tax cuts and exemptions introduced by the former governor, Sam Brownback. The concern on the impact of the state's high levels of sales tax on the poor population is discussed.
