Abstract
- The article looks at the top 10 reasons why students leave their pre-registration courses, according to Health Education England's Reducing Attrition and Improving Retention report. The report shows big differences between the different fields of nursing. It aims to cut dropout rates among students on pre-registration healthcare programmes by 50 percent. The report calls for hardship funds to be made available to let more prospective students to consider a career in healthcare.
