Konuşma Becerisi: Konuşma ve Yazı Dili.

In this study, the importance of speaking skill and its contribution to the language teaching is presented. It places a particular emphasis on the difference between spoken and written language, also introducing the main function of spoken English as "interactional" and written English as "transactional". In addition, some sub-skills useful in improving the speaking skill are also part of the contention of the analysis, emphasizing the difference between "skill" and "knowledge". It is aimed that this descriptive study will inspire further research in terms of emphasizing the main differences between spoken and written languages. [ABSTRACT FROM AUTHOR]
