Abstract

The article presents a case study of a 5‐year‐old girl with a with a history of recurrent episodes of loss of consciousness. Topics discussed include the electrocardiogram (ECG) taken for the patient; diagnosis of congenital long‐QT syndrome (LQTS) in the patient; and the single‐chamber permanent pacemaker implantation (AAIR) performed on the patient. Also mentioned is the disappearance of QT alternans and T‐wave alternans (TWA).
