Abstract

The article presents a case study involving a four-year-old boy who was admitted to the local hospital for fever and painful swelling of the left foot and ankle. It notes that past medical history of the patient was unremarkable, except for an episode of arthritis of the right knee with low-grade fever nine months earlier. The patient reportedly did not respond to wide-spectrum antibiotic treatment and did not improve even after surgical decompression.
