LAS ESTRATEGIAS POLÍTICAS DE GERMAINE DE STAËL A TRAVÉS DE SU CORRESPONDENCIA (1788-1795).

The objective of this article is to study the way in which Germaine de Staël would built a correspondence network during the first years of the French Revolution which would help her to intervene in politics in an accepted way for for women. From private sphere and letter writing she would participate in public space and politics of her time trhoughout accepted strategies for women: creating opinion in France and other countries by letter writing and transcribing the events recorded in journals, mobilising politicians to action, using her money and her diplomatic influences to help her Friends and to disseminate her ideology. This network would serve as an intellectual platform as well as a political enhancer for her ideals and her later struggle against Napoleon.
