Abstract
- Among the key factors and the physical-geographical conditions of the environment in which plants grow and are harvested, the soil presents a major component, which has the role, on the one hand, of a complex indicator of the evolution of characteristics that determine the growth of plants and, on the other hand, of a depository of the influence of all other conditions and factors, faithfully and continuously recording all the phenomena occurred in a certain place and time. This is illustrated by the level of mustard and maize productions in the crop year 2016-2017, on a typical, slightly gleyic, epicalcaric, medium loam-clay/medium loam-clay Chernozem from Lovrin. Taking these considerations into account, in the paper are presented some aspects regarding the physical-geographic characteristics and the soil quality based on the studies "Studies on the soil, climate and anthropogenic factors that affect the productivity of the lands in the Lower Plain of Banat" performed during the doctoral school, namely 28.09.2016 and up to now. The research consists of the acquisition of scientific data regarding the evolution of some components of the agricultural land productivity related to the cosmic-atmospheric and telluric-edaphic offer necessary for the foundation of some current cultural or soil improvement technologies for their efficient use through a complex approach of the physical-geographical and climatic-edaphic conditions from the Lower Plain of Banat, the present paper presenting the results regarding the influence of nitrogen and phosphorus-based fertilisers on the production of mustard and maize in the crop year 2016-2017. Considering these aspects regarding the existence of risks due to various manifestations of natural factors or human irrational interventions, in the present paper the authors try to transfer descriptive theoretical activities to analytical ones that provide practical solutions in the sustainable management of edaphic resources. The research is based on the foundation of a sustainable agriculture system, meeting the requirements for setting up the scientific database necessary for the foundation of some technologies and for the elaboration of the integrated management measures of agro ecosystems.
