Abstract
- The article presents author's comments on the rate of tobacco smoking in several countries. It mentions that smoking in men decreased to 46 percent. It focuses on the association between maternal smoking in pregnancy and adverse outcomes including miscarriage, fetal growth restriction and preterm births. It focuses on the impact of exposure to second-hand smoke (SHS), exhaled smoke and the smoke from the lit end of the cigarette.
