Abstract

The article reports on the extent of devastation caused by Hurricane Michael in the Florida Panhandle in October 2018. The hurricane destroyed houses and caused seawater surge that submerged entire neighborhoods. It also caused the evacuation of 375,000 people from the western part of the state and it was described by Governor Rick Scott as the worst storm that hit the area.
