The analysis of the Hungarian cartels between 1997 and 2017.

I began my work to the creation of the most exact and most detailed term of cartels with synthesis of market theory and competition law literature. My investigation is an exploratory research. I generate data from the analysis of the decisions of Hungarian Competiton Authority, from these I make descriptive and analytical statistics. On the basis of the Hungarian and foreign market theory literature I formulate hypotheses about the operation time, geographical position, type, sector-type and number of companies cooperating in a cartel. The main results are the follows: The most of the Hungarian cartels operated in the service and commer sectors. In general 2-6 companies were created a cartlel in Hungary. The big part of these cooperation were price fixing agreements. I investigated every cartels in the referred period.
