Abstract

An interview with veterinarian Emily Sycamore of Scarsdale Vets on preventing infectious bovine rhinotracheitis (IBR) in the beef herd, is presented. Topics covered include symptoms of the viral disease, impact of IBR on cattle, how IBR is activated and transmitted and steps that beef farmers can take to prevent IBR in their herd.
