Internal herniation through a defect of the broad ligament of the uterus.

Internal herniation through a defect of the uterine broad ligament is rarely encountered. We report a case of a 52-year-old woman in whom a closed bowel loop with approximation of its ends to the uterus was the definitive computed tomographic finding.
