Abstract
- The article discusses how an American Football Coaches Association rule change could negatively impact the ability of college and high school football teams to use the option offensive scheme as of 2018, and it mentions the decision to implement a rule prohibiting cut blocks in football. The veer-option and zone-read double option offensive schemes are addressed, along with former college football coaches such as Barry Switzer and the University of Florida's football team.
