Abstract
- Saying that women face many specific and unique health issues that men don't, politician Carolyn Maloney introduced legislation that would create permanent women's health offices within five federal agencies. The agencies were identified as the Department of Health and Human Services, the Agency for Healthcare Research and Quality, and the Health Resources and Services Administration. Also the Atlanta, Georgia-based Centers for Disease Control and Prevention, and the Food and Drug Administration were tapped by the Congresswoman.
