Abstract

We present a case of a 40 years old female who was admitted in our hospital after a road accident with thoracolombar, right fi bula and tibia trauma injuries. Physical examination relevant for kidney injury was only represented by macroscopic hematuria. Findings on computed tomography (CT) imaging were defi ning to put the diagnosis of posttraumatic right renal artery thrombosis. She underwent classical total nephrectomy do to the prolonged renal ischemia time (>48 hours after the accident). [ABSTRACT FROM AUTHOR]
