The European Foundation for the Improvement of Living and Working Conditions (Eurofound) is a European Union agency based in Dublin, Ireland. As a European information service provider, Eurofound provides research results, data, information and knowledge on living and working conditions in the European Union in order to further develop employment and social policy strategies at European level. The aim is to contribute to the improvement of living and working conditions in Europe. This article provides an overview of the services, working methods and intended impact logic of this European information providing agency, as well as an overview of the similarities and differences in the working methods of other comparable EU agencies and how they contribute to and cooperate with the EU policy-relevant provision of scientific information.
