Recurrent Burning Limb Pain Diagnosed as Psychiatric Disorder in Adolescence: A Case of True Neuro-Metabolic Disease.

The article presents a case study of a 16-year-old boy with a history of recurrent burning limb pain which was misdiagnosed as complex regional pain syndrome. A suspicion of Fabry disease (FD) was made after clinical history and findings including acroparesthesia, abdominal pain, and delayed puberty. The patient undergone enzyme replacement therapy, resulting to good pain management and improved quality of life.
