Abstract

The article discusses fossil evidence of the different species included in the genus Homo. Topics mentioned include the characteristics of Homo habilis (HH) discovered at Olduvai Gorge in Tanzania in the 1960s, the differences between HH and the skull KNM-ER 1470 found at the Koobi Fore site in north Kenya in the early 1970s, and the primitive features of Homo floresiensis discovered on the Flores Island in Indonesia in the early 2000s.
