In view of the lack of systematization of the experimental content of the traditional electrical and electronic technology of non-electric engineering specialties, and students' engineering application ability training is weak, based on the requirements of engineering education certification, combined with professional features, a comprehensive experimental project has been developed to cultivate students' engineering consciousness. The project highlights the application background and practical application values, reflects the curriculum " four combinations". Taking the experiment of converter back-back test system as an example, the paper shows that the experimental scheme, under the new idea, can effectively cultivate the students' ability to design and implement the engineering experiments, analyze and solve the engineering problem effectively.
