Abstract

In view of the problems of students' low participation rate and passive acceptance of knowledge in the traditional economic and managerial courses, a new teaching mode combining the virtual interactive experiment with flipped classroom has presented. It provides a new way for higher educational reform in economic and managerial talents training. The experimental flipped classroom teaching mode makes the chance for students to involve in virtual economic experiments personally, and takes the "problem-oriented" teaching method to inspire the students to explore the economic principles and behavioral regularities behind the experiments. The experiment leads to the development of students' ability in initiation, exploration and creativity. This paper first introduces the connotation of experimental flipped classroom, then gives a detailed analysis of the role of experimental flipping classroom, finally, explains the application of experimental flipped classroom from establishing rational teaching plan, designing scientific teaching procedure, and exemplifying classic teaching cases. The new experimental flipped classroom mode results in significantly higher classroom activity and student participation rates, it not only increases students' attention in class but also develops their interest in learning and research.
