Abstract

【Objective】 The present paper aims to reveal the characteristics of nutrient quality among different land use patterns, and to provide scientific references for land productivity restoration, soil science research and agricultural sustainable development.【Method】 The authors took Zanthoxylum bugeanum, Lonicera japonica, Hylocereus undulatus, Juglans regia, Tectona and Zea mays fields as the research object in the dry-hot valley rocky desertification region, and employed Pearson correlation analysis and principal component analysis to clarify the changes of soil physical and chemical properties between the six kinds of land use patterns and soil correlation between quality indicators.【Result】 (i) Contents of C and N in the area of Z. bugeanum in dry-hot valley rocky desertification region was low, contents of TP, TK and AK in the soil of J. regia, L. japonica and Z. mays was relatively deficient. The nutrient elements in the soil of the H. undulates and Tectona land were low.(ii) Correlation analysis showed that significant positive correlation was found between TN content and pH, AN content and SOC content, TK/AK content and TP content, TK content and AK content. However, there was extremely significant negative correlation between the soil of BD and TN.(iii) Comprehensive index of soil quality was Z. bugeanum(2. 334) > L. japonica(1.283) > Z. mays (0.330) > J. regia(-0. 386) > Tectona(-1.153) > H. undulates(-1.598). 【Conclusion】 In the process of crop cultivation and management in dry-hot valley rocky desertification region, we should supplement mineral elements such as N, P, K, and pay attention to the synergistic effect of nutrient supply.
