Abstract
- The incentre and circumcentre are two important concepts in geometric quality of triangle. Rouhparvar [Appl. Soft Comput. 30(2015) 577-584] presented the incentre point computational formula for defuzzification of generalized fuzzy numbers. On this basis, we will further consider the circumcenter point computational formula of generalized fuzzy numbers. This paper presents a new method for ranking fuzzy numbers with convex combination coordinate points of incentre and circumcentre that is an extension of Rouhparvar’s method. This extension method can effectively rank various fuzzy numbers and their images. Some numerical examples are illustrated to show the utility of proposed method. [ABSTRACT FROM AUTHOR]
