EDUCAÇÃO PÚBLICA EM RISCO: DESCONTINUIDADES, GOLPES E RESISTÊNCIA.

This paper presents results of a documentary research in the context of recent political teacher training, with special emphasis on the National Curricular Guidelines, as well as the proposal of the current Federal Government to institute pedagogical residency in undergraduate courses. Our goal in this regard is to analyze the possibilities and limitations of such proposals. By the time the country goes through a complex fiscal adjustment, with schools and universities suffering from budget cuts, we understand that MEC's announcement is contradictory and ignores the cultural specificities of each region.
